This Privacy Policy describes how Pear Printer LLC ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our Pear Printer mobile application (the "Service").

Usage, Device, and Marketplace Data

To ensure the Service functions properly, we collect information from all users regarding how the Service is accessed and used. This includes your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, device type, operating system version, app settings, connected printer model information, and your activity data within the Pear Marketplace.

Voice Audio and Transcription Data

Our Service utilizes your device's microphone to provide speech-to-label functionality. All voice audio is processed locally on your device. We do not transmit, record, or store your raw voice recordings on our servers under any circumstances.

Opt-In Improvement Data: No label request information leaves your device unless you explicitly opt-in to help us improve the Service. If you choose to opt-in, we strictly collect the resulting transcribed text and extracted label information. This text data is transmitted to our servers solely to train and enhance our transcription accuracy. Your raw voice audio remains entirely on your device and is never shared.

We retain your Personal Information (such as your account email) only for as long as necessary to provide you with the Service or until you request account deletion. Opt-in transcription data is entirely anonymized upon collection and may be retained indefinitely to continuously train and improve our AI models.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These include Firebase (for database and authentication) and RevenueCat (for subscription management). These third parties have access to your Personal Data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
